The beverage boat is a remote controlled vessel with a refreshing cargo. The boat has the capability of transporting six beverages, four in the fuselage and two in the ballasts, in addition, the vessel can carry a variety of snacks (chips & salsa) in its elevated (and sealed) observation deck.
This project was initiated after we were involved in the judging of a local science fair. The winning entry came from a 4th grader, incorporating a remote controlled boat and beverage/chip tray, the concept intrigued us so much we pursued the idea further.
Crude block models were constructed to test viability.
Final Design Features:
* Full function control of forward, reverse, left, right and stop.
* Twin motor driving system.
* 4 insulated compartments for beverage storage.
* 2 additional pontoon beverage compartments.
* 1 elevated snack bowl with hinged lid to protect ‘cargo’.
* Available in two frequencies
* Water resistant transmitter
